The work on this project included the construction of a new entrance canopy and a complete remodel of the entrance and waiting area. Most of the spaces inside the temple were completely refinished including the ordinance rooms and the baptistery. New wood trim and accents as well as new floor finishes were added throughout the interior. The historic murals in the temple were preserved, protected, and repaired. The baptismal font was made new with an enlarged platform. A new rear entrance was incorporated to enhance the experience of the patrons who visit the temple for baptisms only. The exterior paint was removed and plastered concrete surfaces repaired prior to the application of new paint on the building exterior. Most of the existing mechanical and electrical systems were replaced and upgraded.
