SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH
FFKR was recently hired to be the Landscape Architect of Record for all landscape improvements associated to the Terminal Redevelopment project. FFKR’s responsibilities include Design Development through Construction Administration.
The design for the landscape is based on the concept of transitioning from the
Great Basin aesthetic to a man-made abstraction of the distant views of the
Wasatch Mountains, then moving into an interpretation of a more urban environment at the terminal, which then transitions back to the existing Great Basin aesthetic through the exit drive.
Design development was recently completed in October of 2014, and construction began in July of 2014.
