BYU-IDAHO, REXBURG, IDAHO
Prior to the construction of the Kimball Administration Building, most of Brigham Young University-Idaho’s student administrative services were squeezed into a wing of the school’s library. Other administrative offices were scattered around campus. Construction of the Kimball Administration Building brought all of these services under one roof, freeing up much-needed library space.
Within the building’s steel frame and concrete shear walls, a two-story atrium brightens surrounding service and support areas. Offices are arranged along the perimeter of the facility, allowing for plentiful daylight and views. The exterior is finished in the campus standard, golden buff brick.
