BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY, BOISE, IDAHO
Boise State University’s Stueckle Sky Center overlooks Bronco Stadium’s famous blue turf, while capturing expansive views of Boise’s mountain ranges and downtown historic district.
The addition of the Sky Center provided needed improvements for the operation and production of Boise State University athletic events, including media broadcast and booster accommodations for the BSU Athletic Department.
The design includes four levels – loge boxes, club seating, sky suites, and media and game operations – that rise over the upper seating bowl on the west side of the stadium, as well as two floors built at ground level. Convention and reception areas with full-service bars accommodate both game-time concessions and private events, allowing for year-round use.
In the club seating area, a 324-foot retractable glass wall – the largest of its kind in the world – provides a direct connection between the Stueckle Sky Center addition and Bronco Stadium.
