The Swede Alley retail space is the second mile marker in the Park City Downtown Projects Master Plan. It is designed as a buffer between the China Bridge parking garage expansion and the future Downtown Plaza project. Completed in the fall of 2008, this project represents a new attraction to draw people to the Swede Alley area behind Old Historic Main Street in Park City. It was designed to embody the character of historic Main Street without trying to imitate original historic styles. Integrating modern forms with historic scale and materials, the building harmonizes with its surroundings and adds its own trademark elegance to this area.
