Client-Centered Design

FFKR Architects provides innovative, client-centered architectural, landscape architecture, planning, and interior design services to a broad range of clientele across the United States. Our office is located in the historic Bogue Building in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. FFKR has a reputation for design excellence, environmental leadership, and budgetary responsibility, and has been a Western Mountain Region AIA, and AIA Utah Firm of the Year. We maintain a staff of over 100 architects, designers and support personnel who have the talent, expertise and passion to meet our clients’ most demanding challenges.

In 1972 The Utah Governor’s Commission selected Robert A. Fowler Architects to design the new Salt Lake City Arts Center, and Symphony Hall. Frank Ferguson, a former employee whose firm, Enteleki Design had also sought the projects, sent Mr. Fowler a note of congratulations. Robert A. Fowler Architects then invited Mr. Ferguson and his firm to collaborate on the projects.

The project was so successful Robert A. Fowler Architects and Enteleki subsequently merged and became Fowler, Ferguson, Kingston, and Ruben Architects. In 1984, the company was reorganized into FFKR Architects. Today’s arrangement comprises some 120 talented and creative employees, led by 16 Principals.

FFKR is grateful for having been given the opportunity to collaborate with our clients in the creative process over the past forty years. Your confidence in our design process has resulted in memorable experiences and unforgettable spaces.

It is a privilege to apply our knowledge and passion for great design to your vision. We pledge to honor tradition, and to keep pace with change through our fresh ideas and sophisticated solutions. We know none of this would be possible without you.
