K-12 Education Studio

FFKR Architects K-12 Education Studio’s dictum, Advancing Education Through Design, drives our design approach. Our team understands progressive learning methods and best practices for K-12 design. Our greatest successes are the result of listening to teacher, administrator, and community input and working to create consensus in the outcome. FFKR  implements concepts that assure the educational mission, vision, goals, and objectives of School Districts meet the learning needs of students today and into the future.

We value the continuing education and pursuit of licensure for our 180 employees. In addition to Principal Architects Greta Anderson and Liz Morgan receiving their ALEP designation, we have a broad range of experts ready to assist. Our design team understands progressive learning methods and best practices for classroom design through our work with organizations such as the Association for Learning Environments, The Committee on Architecture for Education (CAE), and UFOMA.

The key to offering our clients the highest quality service lies in regular and open communication. Communication, in conjunction with a schedule maximizing the benefits of community and user-group forums, other information-gathering events throughout the design, as well as construction-phase meetings, allows us to provide our clients with exceptional support throughout the project. This most effectively utilizes time and money to create buildings that inspire and delight students and the community alike.
