Tachi Palace Family Entertainment Center

The Tachi Entertainment Center was designed to be a new hub of family entertainment for the Tachi-Yokut community and the surrounding population in the city of Lemoore, California. This project is the most recent addition to the Tachi Palace Casino that is owned and operated by the tribe. In sensing a need for more family oriented activities, the tribal council reached out to FFKR to take on this project. We worked with the council and other members of the community to design a center that would have broad appeal.

The project has eight movie theaters with a total of 950 seats, a large arcade with 50 games, and a billiards room with a total of nine tables. The bowling alley is designed for both league and public games with 24 league bowling lanes, and six boutique bowling lanes for private rental. In the center of the building is a large concessions area with a full service kitchen that will serve all of the activities and a full service bar for the adult patrons. There are also two rentable party rooms that patrons can use for private parties. The project was bid out to several construction companies, with A.R. Mays winning the construction contract. They were chosen due to a competitive price and schedule and they also had previous entertainment center experience with other Native American tribes in their home state of Arizona. The project will complete in October of 2018 and will be within the original budget and schedule given at the time of bidding.
