FFKR is leading the design effort for a major remodel of the historic Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are working closely with the project managers and designers for the Church and coordinating with the general contractor and their many subcontractors. The scope of the project is broad, touching almost every part of the building and the surrounding grounds. It includes a very complex seismic upgrade of the building using base isolators to reduce the potential earthquake forces acting on it. The project also replaces nearly all of the building’s aging mechanical and electrical systems with new state-of-the-art systems. We are honored to be trusted with this special and sacred building.
