Anne Frank Memorial – Marilyn Shuler Classroom

The Marilyn Shuler Classroom is an outdoor pavilion and learning center within the Anne Frank Memorial. The pavilion was designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing memorial space, incorporating the gabled walls of the adjacent amphitheater and evoking the rooflines of Amsterdam. Under its floating roof, the classroom provides stone bench seating and a projection screen for group storytelling, presentations, and learning opportunities. An interactive kiosk and the variety of quotes and imagery surrounding the space tell the stories of human rights violations, activists, and the spiral of injustice worldwide.
