Our project approach was rooted in Tempe, Arizona’s rich history and natural beauty. We drew inspiration from the local environment, embracing its vibrant energy and serene allure.
In the public spaces, we aimed to balance brand standards with a nod to local history and the surrounding landscape. Architectural finishes maintain a neutral palette, while the furniture selections evoke the shades of green and red found in the local scenery and the textures of cowboy history. Elements in the lobby and bar take cues from Arizona’s diverse cactus species and the intricate ironwork of the Wild West.
To infuse a contemporary touch, we incorporated modern lighting, slightly pushing the boundaries of traditional brand conventions. Per our design objective, this blend of elements creates a tranquil and full-of-life space.
Large-scale art further enhances the lobby’s ambiance, connecting it to the natural desert beauty and rugged cowboy history that have been central themes in this project.
Luxurious Lobby
The lobby’s understated luxury offers a range of seating options. Whether you seek a comfortable work zone, a gathering space with woven club chairs, or a cozy reading chair with tables reminiscent of local rock formations, this lobby has it all. Feel at home as you immerse yourself in this inviting space.
The Way Station
Looking at Tempe’s local cowboy-inspired history, this bar offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. Modern elements, such as slim leather stools, intricate ironwork, and a chain screen art showpiece, bring an unforgettable experience for locals and visitors alike.
Open Meetings
The meeting room is seamlessly connected to the patio. The Nana-Wall invites fresh air and creates an opportunity to transition from a formal setting to a relaxed lounge space to unwind and socialize.
Outdoor Living
Discover the spectacular outdoor living area, featuring a firepit and dining space, perfect for enjoying live music on the weekends. Adjacent to the pool are shade structures ideal for lounging in the hot Arizona sun and a sunken living room, which is the perfect spot to unwind in the pool while remaining dry.
