Convergence Hall

For the first time in Utah’s history, Convergence Hall will bring together universities, industry, and government under one roof to fuel innovation through cross-sector collaboration. Innovation does not happen in silos. Utah’s greatest breakthroughs in health, energy, defense, and technology have always come from collaboration across sectors. Convergence Hall creates the permanent physical infrastructure for that collaboration to happen at scale. It is the first innovation campus of its kind in the state of Utah.

Convergence Hall will host impact labs that bring together industry and academia to harness innovation and solve big problems. Innovation hubs will have incubator spaces where researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs will collaborate. On-site residential suites are provided for students from across the state and entrepreneurs from across the world.

Convergence Hall was officially announced at the 2026 State of Innovation Conference presented by Nucleus Institute at the Salt Lake Community College Miller Campus.
