Jordan Station has been an incredible podium project. The owner began by challenging our design team to a simple bar podium and repeating it across the site. This approach proved more difficult than expected due to the sheer size of each bar, but it allowed us to create unique unit types, including a series of loft units. The contractor assured the owner and design team that this would be the most cost-effective way to build on this site, but that has proven incorrect. FFKR has, at no charge, helped the owner draft 35 new unique variations on the site to assist the owner in making the project’s pro forma pencil. The final solution has been to design a massive podium and a series of smaller podiums.
