K-12 Education Studio
FFKR Architects K-12 Education Studio’s dictum, Advancing Education Through Design, drives our design approach. Our team understands progressive learning methods and best practices for K-12 design. Our greatest successes are the result of listening to teacher, administrator, and community input and working to create consensus in the outcome. FFKR implements concepts that assure the educational mission, vision, goals, and objectives of School Districts meet the learning needs of students today and into the future.
FFKR’s school architecture legacy began with the design for Orem’s Mountain View High School in 1979. Our history of progressive and relevant education design continues today with outstanding projects such as Olympus High School completed in 2013, and the Provo High School Replacement completed in 2018. We have effectively solved some of the most challenging aspects of school remodels and rebuilds. We understand the importance of smaller projects and see how they are as essential to young people who are learning there. We give them the same attention and creative effort as the big projects. This is a key element of FFKR’s overall design philosophy.
The key to offering our clients the highest quality service lies in regular and open communication. Communication, in conjunction with a schedule maximizing the benefits of community and user-group forums, other information-gathering events throughout the design, as well as construction-phase meetings, allows us to provide our clients with exceptional support throughout the project. This most effectively utilizes time and money to create buildings that inspire and delight students and community alike.
